Turmeric Ginger Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
1 inch fresh turmeric root, grated (or 1 teaspoon turmeric powder)
1 inch fresh ginger root, grated
4 cups of water
Honey to taste
Juice of 1/2 lemon
A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)
Instructions:
Boil Water: In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add Turmeric and Ginger: Add the grated turmeric and ginger to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
Strain: Strain the tea into a cup through a fine sieve to remove the root fibers.
Add Flavors: Stir in honey to sweeten and add lemon juice for a vitamin C boost. Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper.
Serve Warm: Enjoy your tea warm, savoring each sip.
